Dtalkz ("we," "us," or "our") is a debate and discussion platform for users aged 18 and above, available on the Google Play Store in India. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Aadhaar Act, 2016, and Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. By using Dtalkz, you consent to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
Phone number, first name, last name, username, and optional profile picture during account creation. Aadhaar number and front/back photos for Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, only for wallet withdrawals.
Processed via Razorpay for wallet recharges; we do not store sensitive payment details (e.g., card numbers).
Text posts, audio/video debate content, and debate details (topics, language, category, time, invited users).
Usage data (e.g., posts viewed, debates joined), device information (e.g., device type, OS, IP address, unique identifiers), and streaming data via Google Analytics, Firebase, and Agora.io.
We use industry-standard encryption (via AWS) and secure payment gateways (Razorpay). Aadhaar data, including biometrics, is not stored; it is used only for KYC verification via UIDAI systems and deleted immediately, per Aadhaar Act, 2016. You are responsible for securing login credentials.
We retain personal and KYC data while your account is active or as required by law. User content (posts, debates) may be retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Anonymized analytics data is kept for app improvement.

Dtalkz is for users aged 18 and above. We verify age during signup and KYC. Data from underage users is deleted upon discovery.

Data may be processed outside India (e.g., AWS servers). We ensure compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, using providers with robust safeguards.
Updates will be posted in the App. Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app alerts. Continued use after changes implies consent.
