Dtalkz ("we," "us," or "our") is a debate and discussion platform for users aged 18 and above, available on the Google Play Store in India. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Aadhaar Act, 2016, and Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. By using Dtalkz, you consent to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Data

Phone number, first name, last name, username, and optional profile picture during account creation. Aadhaar number and front/back photos for Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, only for wallet withdrawals.

1.2 Payment Data

Processed via Razorpay for wallet recharges; we do not store sensitive payment details (e.g., card numbers).

1.3 User Content

Text posts, audio/video debate content, and debate details (topics, language, category, time, invited users).

1.4 Automatic Data

Usage data (e.g., posts viewed, debates joined), device information (e.g., device type, OS, IP address, unique identifiers), and streaming data via Google Analytics, Firebase, and Agora.io.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Verify identity via OTP and KYC for account management.
• Facilitate debate creation, live audio/video streaming, and audience voting.
• Process wallet recharges and withdrawals securely via Razorpay, per RBI’s KYC/AML guidelines.
• Personalize your experience based on language and interest preferences.
• Send push notifications about debates, schedules, or updates (opt-out available in settings).
• Improve the App through analytics.
• Comply with Indian laws, including the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.

3. How We Share Your Data

• With Users: Username, profile picture (if provided), posts, and debate content (audio/video) are visible on the home screen or during live streams.
• With Service Providers: Razorpay (payments), Agora.io (streaming), AWS (storage), Firebase/Google Analytics (analytics), bound by data protection agreements.
• For Legal Reasons: Disclosure as required by Indian laws or legal requests (e.g., court orders).
• In Business Changes: Data may be transferred in mergers, acquisitions, or sales.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (via AWS) and secure payment gateways (Razorpay). Aadhaar data, including biometrics, is not stored; it is used only for KYC verification via UIDAI systems and deleted immediately, per Aadhaar Act, 2016. You are responsible for securing login credentials.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal and KYC data while your account is active or as required by law. User content (posts, debates) may be retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Anonymized analytics data is kept for app improvement.

6. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Opt out of promotional notifications via app settings.
• Request data portability (where feasible).
• Request account deletion by emailing dtalkzinfo@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.”

7. Age Restriction

Dtalkz is for users aged 18 and above. We verify age during signup and KYC. Data from underage users is deleted upon discovery.

8. Third-Party Services

We use services like Razorpay, Agora.io, AWS, Firebase, and Google Analytics. Review their privacy policies, as we do not control their practices.

9. Data Outside India

Data may be processed outside India (e.g., AWS servers). We ensure compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, using providers with robust safeguards.

10. Policy Updates

Updates will be posted in the App. Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app alerts. Continued use after changes implies consent.
